Seeking advice. My alkalinity was stable at about 8.1- 8.2. Today my Apex Dos went nuts and pumped 321ml of liquid soda ask into my reef tank. Just took a reading and now my alkalinity is 12.6 How bad is that? It's a reef tank.

Well 8-12 is usually what we see recommended, so as they would say in Chernobyl “not great, not terrible.” If corals aren’t upset they should bring down in no time.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice. Think I'll ride it out and see what happens.
