So I installed my Apex EL about a week or so ago and did everything according to the get starting guide on the Neptune site. I calibrated the PH probe with packets according to the steps and then put the probe in the tank. It is reading low 7.7s to almost 8 at peak times but the issue is when I run my PH test kits (ATI, Salifert) they are coming in at 8.2ish according to colors. Which should I trust? Am I doing something wrong with the Apex, should I turn on Temperature Compensation? I did not think my PH was that low, this is in a IM 40 AIO and I have a IM 14 that with test kits read the exact same but no ph probe in it to check with.

I would appreciate any input.

I'd try recalibrating the probes. The solution is cheap and oftentimes available at a LFS.
Turning on the Temp Compensation wouldn't hurt either

I did that with some Atlantic Scientific Solution I had 7 an 10 and it read both fine.
If I turn on Temp Compensation do I need to recalibrate at the tank water temp?
