APEX LSM w/ Custom LED

So currently I have a Kessil w/ Angel Eye LEDs like you see in some DIY posts. The Angel Eye LEDs just has a 12V adapter and is currently my moonlight. I wanted to use this with my APEX LSM Module but wasn't sure what else I needed. My guess was to splice the positive wire into a male adapter that I could put into the LSM Module. Need some help and clarification before I break something.
