Hey guys! So over Christmas I ended up getting an apex Neptune, and a 3d printer. I was curious if there was a mounting solution I could make for the apex using a 3d printer, or if someone has a better idea on how I can mount my apex. Thanks everyone!

You mean you got it?! Awesome! I used the included mount and put it on a cabinet shelf board. I used a couple 2x4’s (screwed into wall studs horizontally) to mount the board to. Then used a hole saw to run the cables through. Is there a certain way you want to mount it using a 3d print? Congrats!!!

Yeah I did! I was not expecting that nor the 3d printer (I told my wife I was just going to order one this week lol) And no particular way for 3d printing, just trying to limit me potentially destroying my tank stand haha.

Gotcha. I mounted mine on the board a couple feet away from the tank. What printer did you get?

Bambu A1 with the AMS Lite! I still have to set it up haha. I went to my parents house for the week so the only thing I got partially setup was the ams. I’ll get the rest of the printer out and printing tomorrow!

I have that one too! It’s awesome! I have my ams in a water proof tote with dollar tree desiccant containers to keep the filament dry.

Where did you get the tote from? I've been trying to find a tote to keep the AMS in.

I’d use a hot knife or heat up a hobby knife with a small butane torch to cut the holes for the filament and power cord. That way it won’t crack. I also put a Bambu lab hydrometer on it.

Oh, and make sure to use petg filament for anything that is in the tank (from my research). Pla breaks down in water supposedly.

That was something I was trying to figure out! I just have PLA for now, but I'll have to order Petg when I get the chance!
