Apex not connecting after ISP Provider reset modem

I have 2 apex's. Both disconnected when my ISP reset my modem.

Is there an easy way to reconnect them?

I used to have that issue after power outages and apex came up before modem and thought they finally fixed it. Just completely unplug all power to Apex and plug back in and it should reconnect. After that make sure your apex and modules are up to date.

Yep I agree, unplug your Apex and plug it back in should cause it to reconnect. If it doesn't unplug your modem and Wi-Fi for 60 seconds. Plug in the modem until all the lights come on and then if your Wi-Fi is a separate unit plug it in until it connects and then plug in your Apex and everything should be golden.

You need to power cycle (completely remove power to the APEX). When you plug the APEX back in it (with the router already up and running) the APEX will request a DHCP address from the router and start working. I have this issue with power outages because the ISP modem takes 10min to power up.

Actually it shouldn't even request the DHCP. Like my above posts to mentioned by unplugging your devices for 60 seconds and rebooting them in proper sequence there should be no issue with it reconnecting. It's no different than any other Wi-Fi device

Funny thing is power briefly went off like 4 times yesterday during massive thunderstorm. Never had to do anything and it always reconnected. Thats why I said make sure you are up to date on releases. I think it went away 2-3 releases ago and I have an A2 Pro.

Are they setup wifi or Cat5?

if it's wifi... Is your router dual band (2.4 and 5g)? I believe the Apex is 2.4g only and if your bands do not have separate names some devices can get confused. My Kessil wifi dongle has this issue.

Well I am a dork.

Apparently Neptune got back to me right away, and I missed it. My apologies to them.

The solution was using a paperclip to reset the Apex, followed by me signing into my Apex wifi signal on my phone. Then going into my browser and typing the 172.16.0.1 to get my Apex to pop up and selecting the wifi I use. Once I found the email, it took me about 5 minutes to do both units.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
