I've read the comprehensive reference manual for the Apex on UPS, but I still don't understand how to program the unit to shutdown noncritical loads.

Apex firmware 4.03
1 Energy Bar on UPS
12V auxiliary power supply installed in non-UPS outlet

I need to know how to specify which outlets should be disabled on loss of power. I can't seem to find how to determine which outlet to apply the following code to:
If Power EB8_3 OFF

In the outlets that you want to be turned off during a power outage add this to the end of your programming for that outlet.

If Power Apex Off 000 Then OFF

What if you used an Apex template for the outlet? For instance, I used the heater template for the outlet with the heater attached. There is no way to add code to an existing template, right?

You will need to use the control type Advanced. Once you click on advanced you will see the programing that you have already setup with the heater wizard and at the end of the programming put in the If power program. The last thing is to save your configuration by clicking on the orange cloud.

Yes it does.

Just want to make sure you also have power monitoring enabled on the Apex?

Crap. I missed that. I need to figure out how to enable that.

The Apex does notify me if the power is interrupted...is that the same?
