I have a apex that I picked up (used) for this Build Im doing and I'm starting to question myself if I really need it?

I am a very Basic Person and really the only thing I can think of that the apex can come in handy is Ph and Temp, I have a brand new Ink Bird Temp controller and I have a hand held ph monitor

Am I going to regret not using it? My tank is a 40 breeder, My lights are Hydra 26hd, My powerheads and return pump (s) have there own controller. One of the return pumps is for the manifold

The apex I have came with a Leak sensor and also the LLS Liquid Level Sensor and FMM module

Would it be wise to keep it, set it up and add stuff down the road or is that just asking for more confusion

A few friends of mine swear by them thats is why I picked one up

Comes in handy just for turning things on or off.
Automate your feed cycle.

I love my apex. But I love the tech side of reeffing. I would try it and if you don’t use it toss it

Only downside is the quality of Some accessoires. LLS and leak sensor both stopped working. Trident np also very buggy
