I am setting up the Apex. The ORP probe is reading 168. Which would be really low. This is about an hour after plugging it in. So I received an alarm. My PH is reading 7.97. Haven't got the salinity probe working yet. Also have a trident to set up. Any suguestions?

I have an Apex with ORP probe. It must be in the water for several days before it will measure correctly. When your ORP moves in the opposite direction of your PH probe, then it has been successfully "seeded".

It may actually take quite a bit longer than several days. I replaced the probe on my apex last month and it took almost three weeks to arrive at what I felt was the likely reading. ORP is kind of useless though - unless you run either ozone (I do not) or a sulfur reactor (I do).

Ok. I was thinking at least being in the range had significance. Good to know it usually takes a while. Got the conductivity probe working!!! yeah! On to setting up the Trident. :)
