Hello all! I am not new to the apex world. I have had the original one on my 40 cube for 5 years. I recently set up at 180 and bought the newer EL version and set it up on that tank. However I am trying to calibrate PH probe and it settles around 450 on both the 7.0 and 10.0 solutions. This is return says my tanks ph is 3.7, which THERE IS NO WAY! HAHA.

Any advice would be great! I have tried the automatic calibration but it times out on the 7.0 solution.

Is this with both a new probe and controller?

For me this is usually a sign the probe is going bad. If both are new I would ignore the numbers go through the calibration and then place the probe in both solutions to see if it still reads 7 and 10. If not then I suspect either the probe or socket is bad. Most likely the probe.
