I have been getting my tank set up and with that was setting up my Apex EL for the first time. However, my PH probe isn’t working correctly. It currently states by PH is about 3.88. I tried to calibrate it and the automatic calibration fails. The manual calibration also fails without getting any different readings when placing it in the 7.0 vs 10.0 solutions. Any ideas?

Since it’s just being setup you have nothing to loose by doing a complete Controller reset. That may fix the issue. Also did you do a thorough visual inspection of the probe?

Dumb question: did you remember to remove the protective cap used for shipping?

Not a dumb question. I realized this last night when watching videos trying to figure it out. Will try again and hope that fixes it. Quite annoying that there isn’t a quick start guide in the boxes and they want you to go to their website for the instructions.
