In Europe we are still running on the EB6 powerbar. I am wondering if i can mount the powerbar in my stand. Sadly my stand does not contain any dry area, so it will be humid in there? I know this will be a problem for the head unit and the trident

As long as it isn't right next to an area that could splash or spray it will be fine. I have had apex equipment including the head unit in enclosed cabinets with my sump for more than 7 years continuously without issues and some of this equipment spent 2 years on a different tank in a similar location.

Great, that will make life a lot more easy. Thanks!

If you want, you could make a DIY splash shield from plastic sheets and put it in front of the power bar to protect from splashes. A simple one can be made using flexible pa,lstic sheets bent and stapled together to go around the power bar.
