I’m curious how you guys are programming your T5 fixtures with the apex. I have a 4 bulb fixture with a reef brite xho on each side. Bulbs 1&3 are on together and bulb 2&4 also. I’m running:
B+
B+
Coral +
B+
I’m used to running LED only but wanted to try something different with this tank. My thought is to have the reef brites on for sunrise period, then add in 2 blue plus for a couple of hours, then all 4 T5 on for peak, then blue plus then back to only reefbrites for sunset.
does this sound like best practice?

Let the T5s do the heavy lifting during your peak hours. Run the Reefbrites the whole time and during your dawn and dusk period. I'd add another C+ bulb or two as well so your tank doesn't look like Romulan ale.

Are you using two actinic reef Brite’s? I would go with C+ and ABS bulbs for full spectrum , your tank will look like windex right now

The reefbrites are the actinic xho
