Apex stuck on preparing dashboards

Setting up apex on Android app for first time. Gets to preparing dashboards and just spins. After an hour I reset it and tried again but same thing.
Trying wifi on 2.4 network.
Double checked password
Cannot figure it out any other ideas would be appreciated.

I've seen this problem many times when using an Android to do the initial setup. Each time I end up using an iPhone, iPad, or laptop computer and it completes the setup with no problems. After the initial setup, the Android is perfectly fine for day-to-day operations with the Apex, but the initial setup always seems to fail.

I took half a day off work to get this set up and get everything re wired and programmed. I know this works for a lot of people but for me I am about ready to throw in the towel... not that anyone cares just needed to vent.


When it takes you to sign in when linked to device am I suppose to use the account user name or some sort of admin?

Tried that... even reset it without special characters. Nothing will work.

Tried on PC chrome will bring up to enter wifi but then it keeps wanting to crash... is it possible I just got a lemon?

Kessil lights hooked up to wifi no issue.
Sicce pump wifi no issue.
Dosing pumps wifi no issue.
Work in IT just for background.
Apex started at noon finally got it to connect at 11:37 pm tried 3 different computers 2 different phones different web browsers different wifi....

I was thinking I just had a bad unit, now I am thinking the initial set up may just be that flaky.

Have to do all the connecting tomorrow, hopefully that goes better.
