It's a very good extension module as are all of Apex modules. It's nice to have multiple Dashboards which reflect each system (tank) that tour running.

Nice. I thought there would already be light control on the unit. I guess i will need to buy this separately. I actually bought the lab grade version to avoid buying anything else lol. So whats the difference betwe

The Base unit comes with two Virtual ports V1/2 and V3/4 each runs at 0-10v the VDM is a extension that allows you to run another 4 lighting units. The EB8 can be programmed for basic on/off while the Virtual ports can do ramping and global lighting.
