When setting up a apex classic, is there something I need to do so the temp probe shows the temperature?

I plugged it in and have the heater plugged into the eb8 and it’s keeping the water warm but the apex isn’t reading the temperature

The temp probe is plugged in correct? Also did by chance it get moved up into the locked area? Or do you see the temp and it sais nothing?

Check probe contact with the eb unit to assure no rust/bad contact

It says the temp is 20, how to I see if it’s locked? I haven’t hooked it up to the internet yet so I am just using the display
