so i just hooked up my vdm module. as well as the icecap cables. i have my octo skimmer, return pump and power head all hooked up and thrown into my dashboard. all are working on 'auto' config was easy and successful.

now my question...all 3 of these octo reef units are also plugged into the energy bar. so really there is two settings? how do i erase them from the outlet dashboard, so i can just have them running power from the energy bar, and get there config from the vdm module?

thanks

Yes, now you have two methods of control for each of those devices. One is the programmable ON/OFF provided by the EB, and the other is the programmable variable signal put out by the VDM. At this point, some people will remove the power plugs from the EB and plug those devices into a regular wall output or power strip. This frees up those valuable switchable EB plugs for other devices. If you want to leave them plugged into the EB but otherwise always on, you can just set those tiles to the ON position, and hide them away in the hidden tiles area at the top.
