Hi guys-

Very new to programming on the apex. I’m attempting to have the apex control my 4 quanta helix bars.

I’ve got the 4 bars wired. The black wire (-)on the quanta helix is going to the red wire on apex cable (-) and the white wire on the quanta bar (+) is going to the black wire (+) on the apex. These align with the instructions I found on the Neptune forums for the apex cables and watching the videos luca posted about the wires on the helix.

I’ve programmed my 4 outlets as lights to be on at 7:45 am.

I’ve programmed 4 programs through the VDM that look like what I’ve attached. I’ve set them to auto. The schedule to ramp them up start beyond the 10% and start after the outlet is turned on.

As soon as I plug the dimming cable from the helix into the network cable that goes to the vdm module, the lights turn off entirely.

When I disconnect them, they turn back on 100%.

It seems like they aren’t wired correctly, but everything looks correct according to the documentation I’ve seen.

I have two helix bars attached to each apex cable using the wiring configuration I’ve described above. The connections were made via soldering and wrapped in electrical tape. Connections are very solid.

I’m not sure if it is a wiring problem or a programming problem. Any help would be really appreciated. Not sure where to go next with this.
