API KH test turns green before yellow

Every now and then when i test my kh the test will turn green at lets say 8 drops and then yellow at 9

should i mark it as 8? 8.5? 9? Am i looking for the change in color or a specific end point color?

I do not know if one might get a more accurate answer by finding a color different than the instructions claim, but yellow is the endpoint stated in the directions and that is what I would go by.
