First yes i know they arent liked and you will say get rid of them.
I do a every few day test on my sulfur effluent just to make sure im not getting any bypass. Thats if it fails the faint smell test that automatically triggers a slight speed up and i skip the testing. Ive noticed when testing the effuent water that if the vial looks like only bottle one was added after 1 min of shaking + roughly 45 seconds of waiting that if its still that bright yellow its not going to change and i just call it 0 at that point.
Is there any reason to wait the 5 mins? I've mostly just been using that method and I use api for this as its cheap and no reason to use higher cost tests.
Dont know more dont use these haha...im going to have to add even more fish and fatten them up via overfeeding or still fatten them up and remove the socks from the system as that reactor is destroying the nitrates. My goal of zero water changes can finally be reached
