Hi folks.

Hope you're all in good condition in this pandemic situation.

I recently bought an Aiptasia Filefish. It is in the holding tank at the moment. I put a few rocks with Aiptasia small and big. A few days passed and they are still intact. No sign of the filefish has munched on them

This fish will go to main tank and there are some small sexy shrimps and trochus snails in MT. I wonder if this Filefish will eat those shrimps instead of Aiptasia.

Need comments about whether this Filefish will be a threat for small invertebrates.

Thanks... Happy reefing.

In my experience not reef safe. One ate euphila after it ate the majority of aiptasia. Gave it away. Got another one and it ate my BTA and not aiptasia. Watch them they are not to hard to catch he will work like a boss, when it’s easy and do whatever the #$&* he wants.
