Ok so those of you with the apogee par meters….
What screws are you using to hold the sensor onto the wand? Mine came with 2 black plastic slotted head screws, however they appear to be too long and to soft to put any torque on so the sensor is tight to the base. I have already destroyed one screw head and since I only have one left I only tighten it down till it is snug. But this doesn’t secure the sensor to the wand base and it flops around. Surely there is a better option to secure it to the wand! I was wondering about a hex head plastic bolt if anyone knows the thread I need to look for, or possibly a stainless screw. Since it doesn’t stay in the water I thought it wouldn’t hurt.

I still use the plastic screw, but only finger tighten it. Then I use velcro ties to secure the cord to the stick. Sensor stays put. Screen Shot 2022-12-05 at 12.38.49 PM.png
