I have an apogee "PAR" meter which I guess gives a measurement in units of microMol photons per square meter per second. When looking at how much light a given coral needs the measurements say 250 PAR. Should I assume that these 2 numbers are the same? my guess the coral sellers are calling the value PAR for simplicity.

Thanks
