Apostale Paul is my oldest fish, a Yellow Tang bought 6yrs ago.

I call him Apostale Paul bc 6mos ago I overdosed Lugols Iodine and Apostale Paul, the fish, was blind for about 5 days, but sight returned when water quality cleared up. Apostale Paul of the Bible was blinded for 3 days....hence the name.

Anyways.... a week ago Apostale Paul appeared one day with the below injuries. Idk if it was a bite or an accidental scraping against rocks while being pinned....idk. I have no clue what happened other than it suddenly appeared

I thought an infection would quickly set in and he'd be a goner in a few days.

As I type this, below are current pics from the injuries that occurred about a week ago. He's eating, roaming the tank as normal. Injuries doesn't look infected at all. But I'm not a Marine Biologist so maybe impending doom is still coming. I do have an African Cleaner Wrasse in the tank, so maybe the Wrasse is keeping the scared area clean. Idk.

I'll post updates on his condition to see if the area starts to healover...or impending doom took hold.

Stay tuned... he's been thru a lot, lil guy
