Apparently Astrea is not just a snail but also a coral.

I was browsing around on WORMS and found that there is a coral called astrea. I thought astrea were snails.

A similar story. I never knew Turbinaria was a LPS coral until a few months ago. I always knew it as a brown macroalgae, despite the algae’s obscurity (I am a macroalgae fanatic, though).

I think your turbinaria is actually a duncanopsammia peltata.

I am pretty sure it is a Turbinaria peltata from the Dendrophylliidae family... but I have been wrong before.

I think it was changed. Turbinaria is also in the dendrophylliidae family.
