I have been fighting an aptasia outbreak for a year. First got the "Aptasia eating filefish (LOL)" he may have nibbled on a few but they still multiplied under his watch plus after he had been in tank for 4 months suddenly my zoas and acans are GONE!! Tried peppermint shrimp, put them in several times, I know they are nocturnal but put 10 in over the year and never saw them again. Next after several attempts got a Copperband through QT eating good but only lasted a month in DT. All this time I would be treating with Aptasia X which I really believe cause them to reproduce faster. Had Klein's Butterflyfish in QT eating pellets, flake and frozen so put him in display Tuesday of this week and today only five days later cannot find a single apasia not even in those hard to reach places under ledges!

I love my kleini for that reason. But the dingo decided to have a taste for torch corals out of nowhere and ate all my torches…. Not liking him much now. I also cant get him out of my freaking tank (tried multiple fish traps, the old school net method) you name it. Just an FYI for people with corals lol

My kleins eventually went after corals, seems to be a hit or miss with them.
