Do some grow more prolifically and are some more aggressive than others?
I guess there are different growth rates on them but glass anemones in general are extremly fast spreading under right conditions (high nutrients, heavy feeding)

I have not googled this or anything, but I often hear questions about GLR and TBS live rock and Aiptasia. TBS chimed in and stated that some ARE aiptasia, but not the invasive type. I concur because my Tampa Bay rock came in with several suspect anemones, but none moved or spread. The invasive species is not found in the gulf from what I have been told.

^Yes, this. The anemone that come on rock from TBS do not seem to proliferate like the typical, dreaded Aptasia, from my experience and from posts like these, though many side with caution and remove them when they pop up:

I hope this helps!
