Has anyone tried it? How does it compare to Triton in terms of results returned and the interface in which the results are displayed?

Seems like the turn around might be faster since it is said to be tested in the US instead of Germany like Triton. Also interesting that they maintain your history it seems so you can see progression over a period of time if you run test regularly.

Pricing seems to be about the same but this is the first I have seen/heard of anything like this outside of Triton.

So R2R, thoughts?

Unfortunately, AWT doesn't have an especially good reputation in terms of accuracy of certain ions (potassium, for example). They have been around a long time. They do not use the methods Triton does (others do, like www.ENClabs.com , but are pricey).

AWT also has (least time I heard, anyway) some strange ways of reporting calcium, which doesn't make sense to me.

That said, they may have improved recently and I would not know of that. They claim to have made some major improvements in 2014, but I do not know what effect that had on their accuracy.

Is AWT the same as aquamedic testing? I thought aqua medic testing was new?

Edit: answered my own questions. All the same. I was hoping another company was stepping into the water testing for hobbyists.

For others knowledge, they are the same. The

http://aquamedicwatertesting.com/

web site lists AWT as the name. Seems they took over in 2014 (or at least expanded it then).

Yup, my fault in not doing a bit more research. I had just gotten a email from a retailer about it and seemed interesting if there was someone getting into the market of testing to the same capacity as Triton seems to be.
