New scape for my tank.
Previous scape had way to much vertical real estate and not nearly enough useable space for corals. Is also way too high in many spots, and being more of the NSA style doesn’t have a lot of hiding spots for my fish.

objective of new scape is much more horizontal surface area for corals, much less height and a lot more caves and nooks for fish to hide.
concern currently is it too much rock? Too busy?
highest point is 13” and tapers down from left to right essentially. 13” puts highest point just over halfway up, tank is 22” high.

I wouldn’t change a thing. In my opinion that looks fantastic. It sounds like my current scape is very similar to you original scape. If I were to do it over I would go after a similar look to what you have here.

It looks great. Only small concern I have would be dead spots around the bigger "cave" on the left.

I think it looks great. I would just say, what if I have to pull all these rocks out for some reason? Can it be done?
Other then the big plateau on the left, it’s all individual pieces that can be removed quite easily. Nothing stacked more then 1 high. Done this way just for your reason. My old scape was 3 large pieces that were very heavy and not really practical to remove for pests etc.

Flow is definitely a concern in that end. Tried to position the caves in a way that they lined up with my flow pattern. Hopefully it’s enough.
that plateau piece was quite a bit larger then I envisioned when I ordered it.

Looks very nice!

Like stated, can you make the left a little more "open"...?

How much, and what kind of rock is that (CaribSea?)?

it’s Caribsea liferock
The big piece on the left is the plateau, the big flat piece is the 21” shelf. The rest is shapes and regular rock. I ordered 3 boxes of shapes and 40lbs of plain rock.
I only used 2 boxes of the shapes and only a couple pieces of the plain rock. Ordered way too much.
