So I was in my head tonight and was wondering if I should redo my aqua scape. My cycle should be over by the 22nd give or take. If that’s the case and my nitrates are to high I’ll probably do a 50% water change and possibly redo my aqua scape. I would most likely reuse the rock that’s in the tank, but was wondering if that would affect the beneficial bacteria on the rock. Considering I would have to take it out of the tank until I finish gluing the additional rock down. If anyone has any suggestions or opinions on this matter I would love to hear it! Also this tank will be all LPS and that’s why I would like to redo the aqua scape and I didn’t really use 1lb of rock per gallon.

Oh and as far as coral layout. I was thinking hammers on top with torches, acans on the left rock, zoas on the right rock and possibly blastos or something on the sandbed. On inch and a half tile. Other than that I would still love to hear your opinions on whether it would be a good idea to change up the scape.

looks cool as is. You COULD twist the bottom L rock about 90 degrees (assuming it is oblong in shape) to make the gap in the middle a bit wider.

but really it's fine as is.

Okay I actually kind of like that better to be honest. It feels like it opened it up a lot.
