I purchased an after market bulb from amazon for my Aqua 57 watt UV. My tank has been running extremely hot . Yesterday it was 83.2 and that's with a window AC blowing directly behind it. I disconnected the UV and the temp dropped back to what it usually runs around 78-79. Today I put a new bulb from Aqua Ultraviolet and the temp has not gone back up it's at 78.5. This is the bulb from Amazon. I'm curious what others that have used this bulb have experienced.

I'm not sure but since taking that bulb out my tank temps are back to normal. My tank is 13 years old the only time my tank got to those temps is when I ran Halides.
