KP has been out of stock :(

For the Tampa Bay live rocks it specifies not to use the premium rocks for cycling a tank, should I avoid that or could I make it work? I love the look of them.
Email them in the morning..... they won't bite.

Yes you should cycle in the tank. Even if you cycled the tank first adding the live rock would cause the tank to re start the cycle process. You can do what is called a soft cycle which involves a series of small water changes to keep your ammonia and nitrate levels down while you cycle. This helps limit die off and increases survivability rate of the hitch hikers.

There are plenty of choices for Atlantic/Gulf live rock, but I think TBS would be the best bet, they ship submerged.
I ordered from US Live Rock last month. This was wrapped in wet newspaper, but the coralline, feather dusters, & some macro algaes came back & continue to do so after a few weeks. Didn't really have any life upon arrival, but came directly from the Keys. Nice, light, & porous.

Do you happen to have any pictures of the rock you got from us live rock?
