Hi I have just picked up a aquaone 226 cheap. I have ran it on my tank for 4 days now but it is filling the tank up with microbibbles. As I have the skimmer hanging off the back of tank due to no sump. How can I reduce the microbubbles entering my tank from the skimmer. Also there is a air valve on pump inlet what affect does adjustment have with this air valve. Thanks ian

Also would a filter sock over the outlets stock this ie a 100 or 200 micron

When I ran a hob I cut filter media to cover the outlet and used a rubber band to hold it on. Worked great!!

Well I picked up 2 X 100 micron socks today 1 on each outlet of the skimmer and it's doing the job bang on :-) will pick up another pair for when cleaning these ones out tomorrow.
