Red sea rsk 600 skimmer issue

Hiya guys using the RS rsk 600 skimmer, been using for the past 2 months, absolutely fine, i dosed about 40ml of medicine as a preventative as wasnt too sure if one of my blue tangs had white spot, (reef safe ofc) but the timeline kind of lines up, when i set my air for the skimmer, i come back 10 minutes later and it has risen and the cup is nearly full again! whats going on? i also turn the valve fully down and i have to press the red bit into the pump so that the bubbles actually go down, any ideas?

When you dose reef‑safe medication it often makes the skimmer go crazy because it changes how the water foams, so the bubbles rise too fast and the cup fills even if you turn the air all the way down. Nothing is wrong with your RSK 600. Just turn the skimmer off for a day or two and let the medication break down, then start it again and it will behave normally.
