Hello,

I've seen others talking about gardening, does anyone here do aquaponics? We live in a small mobile home with a very small back yard. Here is ours, if y'all are out there - show us yours!

Beautiful patio area and nice aquaponics setup! I have had an aquaponics setup in the past and have volunteered at a large aquaponics farm (150,000 total gallons). Good luck with the vegetables!

Very nice. Is the aquaponics system hooked up to the koi pond? I was planning to build a system with tapia in it and aquired some things with that intent, just don’t know enough to feel competent putting a system together. We don’t have a lot of yard and have two large ugly walls almost opposite each other. I really wanted to incorporate a vertical wall gardens into the aquaponics system. One wall gets decent sun, but the other only gets sun in the summer.

@laverda - Yes, the koi pond is what is feeding the aquaponics system. I think tilapia is the most popular fish I see people using. We are not big fish eaters and already had the koi... I did not know anything about this stuff and one day just sat on YouTube and a million hours later I jumped in! I like the vertical wall idea, I'm hoping to incorporate a vertical wall on my fence for strawberries...someday! Good luck!

I have not come up with a complete layout I am happy enough with to get started.
