Does this tank need that top righr hand corner filled with a brace or can I keep it as is?

Not a cheep glass tank front panel is starfire sides are grey glass all 10mm: tank size is 122x60x70hcm

If that was my tank, I would redo the braces to go all the way around the perimeter. But that’s just me.
 
I would definitely replace it, looks like an internal overflow was removed which would have braced that corner.
 
Yes.

The braces stop the sides from bowing out and hold the tops of the sides together. There’s no way I’d put water in that thing.
