I've heard mixed things about acc for years keeping me away. i follow them on Instagram and always see really nice stuff from their posts so I decided to stop in because I was in the area finally. I was so disappointed their main "display" tanks were covered in bubble hair algae in addition to bryopsis. I was looking for acros but was kinda shocked at major price tags attached for what reason i am unsure, because its not as if they were some high-end ones of any kind they were lacking color grayed out either bleached or just straight up rtn acros. Most of the other corals were covered in algae or had exposed skeletons and or didnt look to great, the stuff they had that was of any notice was listed as NFS which is kind of frustrating. The only corals I did see that were doing ok would be mushrooms but again anything of note either an absurd price or it would be mark as nfs. I don't want this to come off as some type of bash post but posting pictures of a coral the day it comes in is in my opinion a shady practice that does not reflect the actual conditions of the coral in this shop.

I heard mixed reviews on that place too. I decided to give their online retailer a try. They do have a quarantine protocol, which is really nice. The staff seemed helpful too. I decided to give their shipping a try and ordered an Australian torch coral. I’ll post how it looks when it arrives.
