I only ever had one incident with this, but it was bad. While I was at work my now almost 9 y/o was about 2 and he grabbed a handful of dog food and who knows what else and threw it into my sump. I eventually get a call from my wife that my water is really dark and cloudy and that my pakistani butterfly does not look good. I rush home and find all the dog food and mess in my sump. The pakistani butterfly was all I lost but I really liked it, and it was show quality size.

My son is 2, loves the tank, knows not to touch it for the most part but sometimes 2yr old curiosity wins over 2 yr old logic and reasoning lol.

But he is constantly getting into the tank supplies with no end in sight.
