I recently bought a custom acrylic aquarium top from Tank Toppers. Pretty nice work. I found the company at the Frag market in Storrs CT.

Here is a few shots. I have a few more in my build thread... link in my sig.

Adam the owner of the company was pretty good to work with and i'm happy with the results.

I did have to use my router to trim the black piece as it was a hair too large so if you ever order from them remember to leave some wiggle room when giving dimensions.

It seems the net is too thick from the photos to me
I did not really think about this much. I suppose it would be good if they had different options to choose from. It doesn't seem to be a problem though.,

Turns out that the guys who make these tops have an issue they are unable to overcome. The top begins to curl at the edges on long tops. This makes the top ugly and over long term unusable. This is unfortunate since i really like the look of the top.
