Hey everyone,

Just wanted to get some thoughts on my aquascape so far. It’s a 20 gallon long that I siliconed an AIO chamber into. I was going for a mix of negative space and structure—trying to leave some open areas for swimming but still give fish a few hideouts.

I picked up 20 lbs of Marco rock but only used about half—ended up with a lot leftover. Planning to put some ceramic bio balls in the rear chamber to help make up for the reduced rock in the display. There’s also going to be a ~2 lb piece of live rock thats in a qt right now going between the two main structures to help seed things.

I was kind of hoping to create a little island for some GSP, but now I’m not sure there’s enough room to keep it isolated long-term. Might still give it a go. Starting off as FOWLR, but definitely planning to add some softies down the line.

Any feedback or suggestions are definitely welcome—especially on how to improve the scape or ideas for coral placement!

It looks neat! Make sure the rocks are a few inches from the side and back glass, so you're able to easily clean it. I would personally move the rock section on the right and have the two negative arches touching. Depending on your coral you're wanting to get, I don't think you'd be able to use that high arch on the right rock for anything. I think it might be too high up, but someone more knowledgeable will eventually chime in! :)

You did really good! Tons of space for coral placement. Depending on if you plan to have specific fish. I would have somewhat of a cave of sort. Otherwise its great. And of course ensure you leave enough gaps between the glass to clean.

Maybe a couple of points coming toward the front of the tank. This will give the look of a deeper tank.

Thanks! I may move them together, just want to make sure there’s enough space below for that piece of live rock I’m using to seed the tank.

Thanks! It’s hard to tell in the photos, but the structure on the left is a pretty big cave. I’m starting with clownfish, and I just wasn’t sure how big of a cave they need. Figured there’s some smaller hangouts throughout too.
