Was going to wait until I got home for initial pictures but too eager and bored at work right now lol.

And so it finally begins. I bought this tank almost 6 months and have not been able to set it up since moving and other things like wanting full automation. But with that sweet christmas bonus finally hitting the bank. It was time.

The following is being used for the tank:

Stand: Aqueon 24x24 (I know its cheap but I trust these enough since I've used them for a while.)
Lid: kraken reef
Light: Kessil 360xe
Return pump: Mightyjet mini 266gph (should meet the 10x turn over for me)
Nozzles: Spinstream however I may swap them out for RCA's
Heater: IM helios 100 watt (may add the second one if it struggles but I keep the house around 69-70F)
Wavemaker- Jecod DMP-20 (should be more than enough but will get a second one if needed)
InTank floss holders for overflow
Aquashield 9W UV desktop

Media: Marine bio balls from an already established tank, with 5lbs of ocean live rock from Marcos. I do want it all to be live rock. But the aquascape I'm going for can't happen if I do. The rest is purple caribsea rock. Using marcos dry powder/glue for fixture.

Sandbed is about 1.5in.

Automation:

Hydros Launch, PH, salinity, temp probes.
2 dosing pumps.
Hydros ATO kit

I plan to command strip velcro it all for simplicity sakes. If it doesn't work I'll grab a plywood board and make some cuts.

It sounds like off to a great start! Thank you so much for putting your faith in HYDROS to be your aquarium controller! We are proud to be the protector, always guarding gotham's reefs.
Haha thanks. Your platform is geared towards me. High availability design is a must for me. Now get that Maven out this year!

And so it begins!

Half dry and half live rock. I am trying to find some good arches for live rock but nothing that I find replaceable for the current rock structure. Slowly started to transfer corals over.

That looks fantastic. I like a more minimalist look.

Aquascape looks great. Should have lots of room for coral. Seems like you’ve got a good collection started.
Thanks, yea slowly moving over some corals to the new tank.

I have the same light on an innovative marine 15 cube. I’m still trying to figure out proper lighting. Can you post your settings and schedule ?

I'm on full intensity and on 90% blue 10% white. I take pictures under 100% blue. Hours 9am to 8pm.

If you have the exact model. You will want your intensity to be less. I'd say under 60%

Yeah I’ve barely had any coral for a month now, slowly finding the right intensity. So far gotten to 30%. Mushroom and zoa were fine but my toadstool never opens to extend polyps. It really only opens up a bit around ~10%
