Hello,

First time posting in this sub! Yesterday my old lady said she heard some electrical noises coming from our aquatic life fixture light. When I came home I replaced the two B+ T5 bulbs and that seemed to work. Today I came home and they were off again, so I played around for a bit and they were turning off and on every 1 second and I smelled something burning. I took the light apart thinking maybe it was salt buildup and noticed one of the sockets seemed burnt. See picture for reference. Anyone know how to fix this and why it happened? Are those sockets standard? Any help would be appreciated!

Those are standard T5 sockets and can be sourced out locally. Where the issue might be is in the Ballast which might possibly could be sourced locally as well.

TBH Aquatic Life has really good customer support, and they should be able to help you out.
