Aquatrance 3000S Skimmer Pump - unused, but missing union connection

I just purchased this about two weeks ago for ~$160, glued the union fitting to my old skimmer, and then decided to get a new skimmer altogether. This is the standard pump used on these Reef Octopus models (and possibly others):
Classic 202-S
Classic 200-INT

The union is available from Coral Vue for about $6
