Has anyone drilled a 60g aqueon frameless cube? Hoping to find out if it is tempered or not.

I don’t have a 60g Aqueon, but I strongly recommend conducting a polarized sunglasses test to checked for tempered glass.

Welcome to R2R! As @Peace River said above, best way is to take a laptop or pc screen (sometimes even a cell phone) and check if the glass is tempered first.

Thank you for the advice.

I have drilled a lot of tanks and shattered a few. Mostly because of believing the manufacturer’s description of whether the glass is tempered or not. I always, always check now. Also remember when you are drilling that it is really more like grinding than it is cutting with a hole-saw. Primary advice, other than using water, is go slow. When you think you are going slow enough, go a little bit slower.
