I have a biocube smart 14 jr. take thats almost a year old. I use their app (BlueIQ) to control the schedule of the lighting. Today i woke up and the tank never turned on. After checking the plug and outlet, I tried the app (which seemed to be working) but the lights weren’t responsive. I deleted the biocube from the app and did a factory reset of the hood. I paired the biocube back to the app and was able to regain control of the lights.

My issue now is that it won’t follow the set schedule. So when it’s on, let’s say, “predawn” which ends at 815am and should switch to “sunrise”, it won’t switch and just stays on schedule it’s stuck on. If I change it (those familiar with the app know that you can set a temporary time at which time it will default back to the proper schedule), it will just change back after the allotted temporary time back to the wrong schedule. It’s almost like the clock is stuck. I’ve even gone as far as deleting the app completely and starting from scratch. Anyone else familiar with these lights/app have any thoughts?

Bummer! Hopefully someone will chime in who has an idea.

Any support from Coralife on it?

They’re phone tech support is pretty good but they’re closed until Monday for the holiday.

At least Im able to manually set the lights. Annoying but at least nothing will die.
