I have a few Cobalt powerheads. I went to clean one of them (MP900) last week. The impeller was in 3 pieces. The magnet wasn't attached (it did catch the blades when turning, but it was loose), and the back part was floating. I ordered 2 replacements on Ebay. The package was crushed and they showed up the same way. I contacted the seller, and he sent me 2 more. They are the same!!! Is this how they are supposed to be?

It really looks like it's broken on the back piece.

I wanna bump this for you, there should hopefully be an equipment specialist out there. Maybe try contacting there support?

Cobalt closed up shop years ago. They came back recently as Newa. I doubt they would answer a question about Cobalt.

You could try, usually businesses keep info around.
