I’ve had these nice blastos in the tank for a week now and they seem happy. They’re opening up and reacting great to feeding. Normally I see blastos in a mounding, brain-like shape, but my placement suddenly has them looking more zoa-like. Maybe there is too much flow for them?

Could be a little too much flow, they should be bunched up, but that could also be the way they are growing. Move them out of the higher flow, and see if that helps!

From my experience they can handle a good amount of flow without retracting like that. I have mine placed high up and on a ledge, so it gets the same amount of flow as some of my sps, and it still looks thick and dense. Yours look healthy though so maybe it just needs time to grow in and build some mass. :)
