I had to move my corals to a small tank due to a leak. Things looked fine until I wen5 away for the weekend, and came back to my Alk being 4.5-5 dkh. Been slowly trying to raise the dkh over the past 3 days. All of my euphyllia have been looking bad, some worse than others. The worst ones have small white chunks hanging off of them, widened asymmetric al polyp mouths, and shrivelled/retracted tentacles. I have never had euphyllia die on me before and don't know what it looks like. When my st. Thomas mushroom coral died it went limp anf loose like jelly, so I am hoping that their tight retraction at least means they are clinging to life still...
All of my parameters are fine (within the ideal range provided at liveaquaria) except for thw dkh, which is presently at 6. The only other major change (other than moving tanks and dropping dkh) is my upgrade to AI hydra 26, which is currently ramped to 25 % over a 9 hr schedule. All of my other corals seem to be bouncing back, even my sps, but the euphyllia still look rough...
Any help or insight would be much appreciated!
