How invasive can Rhodactis mushrooms be?
Thinking of starting a small garden at the base of my rock structure.
Trying to get a sense of how these animals grow and spread.
Thanks

Rhodactis typically do not spread quickly enough to reach those proportions. It's most discosoma that do that.

I have gonzos golden dragons that have spread like wildfire. So if youre considering them, id put them in a basket of some sort.
I had one piece of a foot stick onto a frag rack 2 months ago. Now exploding with about 15. They just keep splitting! Its terrifying.

The gonzos sure are beautiful. Good to know that they are invasive.
How does one know if a particular Rhodactis is super invasive?
There are so many different names that vendors use.

I have gonzos that have never multiplied at all. I have them at the bottom but in light. Its a shallow 20 gallon. I would love to have some babies but also dont want them on my rockwork! Any advice? Should i move from light? I also dont have much flow on bottom.

Put them up high at the top of the tank
