I have two of the AI Prime 16HD Reefs over my 38-gallon and I've been playing with the different light settings while it's been cycling.

I'm a newbie newb and after one look at the settings, I looked at the AI website and decided to look at a few of their Signature Series downloads. I originally tried the Nanok program, but it goes soooooo blue for soooooo long near the end of the day, I knew I would eventually hate it. Turns out, I do.

I am currently running the Saxby program and really like it so far, so we'll see how it ends up.

Keep in mind, I'm speaking based purely on aesthetics at this point as I won't have any corals under those lights until I buy them and break them out of quarantine ;)

What is scape looking like ?
I dont use as high tech of a set up as others but ive made do.
I only run that in tank filter cause I had it on for cycling and such year ago. I just never took it out. Im afraid to now lol.
Oversized canister filter, 2 wave pumps and a heater
I dose when needed all 3 elements more like every other day or so.
Water changes only when needed and light have been posted.
There are about 8 pieces of live rock probs equalling close to 15 pounds id say. 20g in tank volume 5g in canister

All I've run and I can grow coral well
When im watching over it for dosing and such.
Might buy pumps to help that part out.
Its a mixed reef nothing to serious but I do want a couple more sps and im worried on lighting. I do have birds nest that grows like crazy

Nice tank ! I always feel like my flow is too mush in my tank but eh, also I liked having my lights high but there okay because my corals are at the bottom of the tank in sandbed if I wanted to move them on to the rock I think I would get them since I have a tall island shaped scape I wanna be able to put corals on the rock work lol
