So my tanks been up for a month or so. And I’m new so I was wondering are these parameters good
Ph 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5ppm
Phosphate 0.1
Alkalinity 11DKH
Calcium 400ppm
Magnesium 1230ppm
Let me now and for those wondering first corals will probably be Zola’s and mushrooms

The nitrates were 20 a couple of weeks ago but they been decreasing now they’re 5 and I don’t really want to chase number I just want to know if these are good levels for the coral I want to start with.

yea ur fine esp if you are just going with mushrooms and zoas, but you dont want nitrates and phospahtes to go down really so just feed more
11 dkh im guessing is from salt so prob reef crystals or red sea coral pro?

both zoas and mushrooms like higher nutrients. phosphate is fine but you dont want nitrates to go down

Is instant oceans and I stoped feeding a lot because of the algae issue with green algae to try to minimize it but I don’t know what to do some of the snails are growing green hair algae so I’m going to scrub them to take the hair algae off them and the asters snails aren’t really eating the green algae on the rock is there anything to do to get the green algae to die down would pods help

i thought io had much lower alk than that. rc is in line with 11dkh. depending on tank size foxface can eat gha, if not usually the next go to is mexican turbos

it is still instant ocean but the reef crystals version. not really a mistake on ur part
